Amethyst Technologies is currently seeking applicants for the following positions:

Calibration Technician

The Calibration Technician will perform calibrations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment used in biotechnology companies. Must have experience with RF/microwave, AC/DC low frequency, and physical dimensional measurements. This position will assume a lead role in site calibration activities, including developing and implementing SOPs, managing reference standards, and executing validation protocols. This position requires an associate’s degree in biomedical equipment technology or electronics or military training with a minimum of 3 years experience in PMEL. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen, have excellent computer and presentation skills, and be able to work independently.

Project Manager

The Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of various projects, including monitoring business activities, government contracts, “green” initiatives and planning materials and human resources.  This position will be responsible for Regulatory, corporate, and client compliance for all work, developing and implementing project progress metrics for defined goals, and managing quality systems related projects according to client and corporate specifications.  This position requires a bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline, project management experience, training in GXP’s, and a minimum of five years experience in a pharmaceutical/biotechnology environment.  Must have experience with “green” projects, “green” laboratories and “green” principles and knowledge of government contracting. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen, have excellent computer and presentation skills, and be able to work independently on this project.  This position requires travel out of the country.

Quality Assurance Associate

The Quality Assurance Associate will be responsible for providing quality system support and quality assurance support of all compliance activities related to and operating in a research environment. This position will assume a lead role for development, implementation, and maintenance of a Quality System compliant with GLPs. This position will conduct document control procedures including tracking and monitoring all documents including SOPs, protocols, policies, etc, provide internal audit support, and generate internal quality documentation such as quality plans, SOPs and inspection procedures. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline, training in GXP’s, and a minimum of two years experience in a pharmaceutical/biotechnology environment. Must have experience with “green” projects, “green” laboratories, and “green” principles. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen, have excellent computer and presentation skills, and be able to work independently on this project.
